We just wanted to thank all the people that have been coming to the comic. We've received a lot of positive feedback from people, and that really makes it all worth doing. Also, we've not received any negative feedback, which is a least a little surprising. I assumed someone would have a problem with us and fire off an angry email. I'm glad they haven't, though.

I also feel a sense of "sticking it to the man." I pretty much constantly think about the world around me and how much things, like the retail industry, really make me angry. (I shouldn't, but I do.) People are treated like crap all the time, and it seems like no one's doing anything about it. Probably because they're not.

I can't change the way the industry works. But doing the comic really makes me feel good. I'm doing something, and even if it's just letting people know that they're not alone, adrift in an endless sea of misery, that's enough for me.

I guess you could say it gives me a sense of belonging; knowing that there are people out there that understand how much things suck makes those sucky things a little more bearable.
