I always got a good kick out of signs like this that they posted around the store from time to time. I’d see people at the little computers, applying for who knows what. I always wanted to go over to them and advise them not to bother. However, I’m an introvert, so talking to strangers isn’t my thing. They’d probably just tell me that they need to pay the bills and this is the only thing they’re qualified for, which is why we all work retail, right? I mean, how many people do you know that worked retail because they liked it. I heard of one such lady once, but she was probably just a myth.
